Flexible seating has been shown to improve academic achievement by allowing kids to focus on their learning and to channel their energy and attention during independent, partner, and whole group tasks. My special needs students will enjoy sensory benefits of Wobble chairs which provide soothing movement as they work. "Go Anywhere" chairs give students choices about where to do independent and pair work so they can better focus on tasks. Giving kids alternative seating options accommodates various learning styles as well as a range of physical and emotional needs. As a teacher, I can deliver instruction in a variety of classroom settings.
