My students live in a digital age. They have access to Chromebooks for school work. Many times in class, they will complete assignments that include a variety of videos and use sound. It can be distracting to other students. These headphones will be used in my classroom to help access resources that will further their education. These headphones will help students to explore parts of the curriculum that they are passionate about and access different resources to continue to enhance their learning. In a student centered classroom, students are directing their own learning and finding out what they are passionate about. It is my job as a teacher to direct their interests and continue to build them into lifelong learners. Part of being a lifelong learner is having access to resources to continue to explore. With the use of these headphones students will have another way to access the world of knowledge that is already given to them through the use of Chromebooks. Students will be using the headphones as a way to complete both class and independent projects.
