At the beginning of the school year, students are placed in a room with a new teacher and new friends. I try to begin the school year with many community building activities. The resources that I chose will help build cooperative learning as well as help students learn to work together. By teaching problem solving skills, diversity, cooperation, and respect for one another, I hope to create a positive environment which will help make our classroom a great place to learn. Throughout our lives we all must learn to get along with others and solve problems in a positive way!
