My students need book baskets so that we can level our classroom libraries. We are trying to build a strong balanced literacy program at our school, where reading, writing, and word study are being taught with quality instructional practices and resources. We have very old and outdated books that are falling apart, so we are in the process of trying to acquire fresh new quality books for our students. By organizing our classroom libraries with quality literature, we believe our students will develop a lifelong love for reading and writing. Building high quality classroom libraries that our students can feel proud of takes time and effort, but we believe that building abundant libraries our students know how to navigate will be a high-yielding practice.
