My students need to understand how even simple objects can be considered as a machine. My special needs students need the hands-on experience that these simple and safe kits provide while they are learning about simple machines. Abstract concepts and pictures or videos do not always help the students understand the concepts of simple, compound, or complex tools or machines. They need to be able to handle simple machines safely, and they need to be able to explore them without constant supervision. These kits will allow them to explore, connect, and use simple machines while they are problem-solving in the classroom.
