We will use the digital circulated incubator to incubate eggs and the high intensity egg candle to see the changes inside the eggs as they happen. The "Backyard Chicken Project", a hands-on project, gives students a way to be part of something amazing. Students learn when they are engaged. The students will have this fabulous opportunity to learn about life cycles and adaptations by observing the process from start to finish; egg to chicken. When the chickens hatch, students will have the opportunity to take the chicken home, pending parent's approval. The learning can continue even outside the classroom.
