As a first year teacher, it has been a struggle to provide my students with good fit books that allow them to read independently at their level. They have struggled to find texts that not only interest them, but that they are capable of reading. Many of my books are damaged and outdated. Having new books would really allow my students to grow as readers at a faster pace. I hope to foster a love for reading with this project. I feel as though they are limited by the lack of books I have been unable to supply. Help room 101 become readers!
