I have ten students with moderate intellectual disabilities. Five of the students have severe speech deficits and need a variety of manipulatives and pictures to communicate and learn new skills. Five can speak but still struggle to complete grade appropriate work. These students learn using hands on manipulatives. These students come from low income homes and their parents struggle to provide them resources and learning at home.
