The books that I am requesting will add variety to my classroom. I love to read to my students and they love being read to. Any book that I read becomes an automatic want to read for them. My students are diverse and have diverse reading skills and interests and having a variety of books shows my students that literacy is important in our classroom. Having a variety of books in our classroom library is a sure way to encourage students to read, read, read! The more books that my students have access to, the more they will want to explore and read. The more books they read, the better readers they will become.
