I will use the proposed materials to better meet the needs of my students. I teach 3 grade levels. First-Grade, Fourth -Grade, and Fifth-Grades. Many of the hula hoops that are in use are many years old and need replacing. The materials will make a difference by allowing them to participate in cardiovascular exercises, locomotor and non-locomotor activities, cooperative learning, as well as problem solving. Ex. activities- Hoop Relays, bean bag targets, ring toss, tic-tac-toe, targets- Jumbo Golf, Frisbee Golf, etc... These examples are used throughout the year. The donation would also benefit those students that I don't teach. Pre-k and Kindergarten will also have access to the materials The materials would help those grade levels as well.
