In Life Science we explore...life. Students will examine the physical structures and functions of Red-Eared Slider turtles and their optimal habitat, needs, compatibility with other turtles, place of origin, and adaptations. The students will feel more engaged in further investigating the lives of living organisms through associating research with a real life organism right here in their classroom in an aquarium tank. I want my students to LOVE science! What better way to understand living organisms and their optimal environments than by directly observing them. Students will: -identify optimal habitats and living/survival conditions -observe compatibility of living organisms - research place of origin - research and identify adaptations of organism - observe behavioral traits of an organism -create a Google presentation on a living organism of their choice
