Giving students options during independent/group time is a must in any classroom. It's not a surprise that children often have a hard time sitting still in the hard chairs at their desks and invent seemingly impossible ways of "sitting" in the chairs. They need seating options that allow them to work comfortably anywhere in the classroom. These seats will allow my students to be flexible AND comfortable, not just during reading time, but any time when sitting at their desks is not necessary. They are portable and easy to stack, minimizing the space they take up. As my students independent read or work on collaborative projects, they can grab a seat, and find the perfect place to work! No more fidgeting, so happy students equals a happy teacher.
