I educate students in grades K-6. It is challenging to meet so many instructional needs. An iPad would provide a platform that can be taylored to many learner levels. My Learning Support students will have the opportunity to practice and generalize academic skills in an engaging way. Students will use an iPad and a variety of apps to reinforce skills in the areas of reading, writing, and math. My learners struggle with motivation and participation. Technology is engaging and provides a novel approach to repeated practice procedures in the classroom. Learners will love the high interest tools available with educational apps on an iPad. Practice will transform into fun, motivating opportunities to solidify academic skills. Students will be able to master skills and progress to the next steps of the instructional sequence.
