In this technologically advanced world, we work hard to implement computer-based learning into our everyday lessons. STEM has become a big part of our curriculum. Puzzlets are a great STEM activity that allow our first graders to work with technology and practice simple coding while working in teams. The importance of social skills along side of academics is emphasized when working with Puzzlets. Because of the size of our school, the first graders do not have a lot of opportunities to work with technology. These puzzlets will give them the chance to experience more technology as they learn in a more unstructured, fun environment.
