The use of these headphones is a daily activity in my classroom. My students need to build on their technology skills to keep up with the use of technology in our daily lives. Students are exposed to different applications to support their learning within all subjects, especially reading. The donations will help improve my classroom by allowing my students to listen to specific instruction on their computers to help support their needs. Without headphones, students won't be able to hear the instruction that will help them with the material. Also, I have an ESL student and many struggling students, so they will be able to learn new vocabulary and listen to good interpretive reading on their applications. Listening to books teaches critical listening skills, introduces new genres, and invites students to listen to books above their level. For math, students will receive instruction on the level they are at.
