My goal is that all my students come to class each day willing but also able to learn. Sitting still all day in school is no easy task! My students have so much energy just waiting to be used up! The wiggle chairs, bounce seat, and exercise bands will allow my "wiggly" little ones to expend some energy while remaining in their seats and without distracting their peers. We are also lacking some technology in our classroom, such as the document camera, speakers and the head phones. The document camera requested will allow me to project required materials being used with our school's new curriculum. Unfortunately, this is a much needed item that I was not supplied with. My Promethean board does not have built in speakers thus making the speakers a necessity for all the students in my room to adequately hear. The headphones requested will be used in class at our computer station where kids are allowed to learn through animated programs that teach lessons specific to their needs.
