The materials (sensory sand, touch boards, fishing for coordination and grips for fine motor) will help with developing their fine motor and sensory skills which in turn helps them with other skills as they progress along the way. The letter recognition activities will be used to enhance letters and letter sounds. By focusing on these skills they will learn to begin to blend sounds from letters to help them make words which is the foundation to reading. The interactive games will also help sharpen their technology skills on the interactive white boards with developmentally age appropriate interactive games from sequencing letters to number recognition. This will help them with technology innovation at a young age which is critical.
