Scholastic News Magazine is a wonderful tool that has helped to guide my instruction in English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. The articles in each issue are highly engaging and motivate my students to read and explore new topics of interest. Many of my students are so fascinated by the subjects, that they don't realize they are building their non-fictional reading skills. As each student gets their own magazine to keep, each issue is like a little present. Students keep them in their binder and get to take them home to reread when finished. A few of our favorite past issues have included the Titanic, Native American Code Breaking, Robots, 3-D Printing, and of course all animals. We would love to continue using these wonderful magazines in the future. Thank you in advance!!!
