Our school is designing a sensory room and we need your help! A sensory room will provide a place for students to develop and engage their senses. Our goal is provide a room that reaches every sensory need. The crash mat, light box and sensory tables will provide a multi-sensory experience that help my children reach the optimum regulated state for learning. Our sensory room will increase focus, which will promote cognitive growth. It will also increase communication and encourage socialization. Activities in the room will increase both gross and fine motor skills that will enhance writing in the classroom setting.
