I strive to give my students freedom by letting them CHOOSE how and where they learn during independent work time. Currently, I have students choosing to sit at tables, lay on the floor, lean up against the wall with a clipboard, or even stand (while moving). My students need more options, to allow for a more comfortable learning environment, that allows for movement. Flexible seating will allow my students to own their learning and make the choices that work best for them and their learning style! The items that I have selected will give my students the options they need. The wobble chairs, stability balls, and wobble cushions will allow for the movement my students are looking for. While the yoga mats, and lap desks will help those who like to sit or lay on the ground while they work. These options will help my students to better focus and be successful in their learning. :)
