These books and plastic book bins will be put to use every single day. My students will read the high interest books that are on their level each day, and will have a place to keep them in their personal plastic book bins. I want to keep my readers excited with a wide variety of books within arms reach in my classroom library. "Everyone is a reader, some just haven't found their favorite book yet." I know that often students who struggle "hate" reading, so I chose books that are high interest on a variety of levels and genres. The books range from graphic novels, to mysteries, humor, soccer-related, and nonfiction or fiction that correlates with the Science and Social Studies Georgia Standards of Excellence. I know that these books will keep all students—boy or girl, high or low reading level, English Language Learner or not—engaged and make them readers for life.
