The classroom rug will make a difference in our students’ ability to engage in a fun interactive way to learn the alphabet and letter sounds. Struggling readers need innovative ways to learn letter names and sounds. The classroom rug will not only give them an opportunity to learn letter names but also an opportunity for other flexible seating spots during literacy centers and lessons. This classroom rug will further enhance my print-rich environment which I strive to create throughout the school day. Making my students comfortable in the classroom environment is an important component in motivating kindergarten students to learn.

About my class
