My students are extra busy kids! They are constantly moving, standing, and wiggling. I love how busy they are because they are always excited for the next lesson. However, because they are always seated in a chair, their little bodies get restless and are usually on the move because of their limited choices. My goal with these materials is to allow my students more choices in their learning and be accountable for what they choose. With being able to choose where they sit, they are choosing their preferred learning environment. I would love for my students to have the choice of a chair, standing by a desk, kneeling at a table, or even moving on the seat they chose. The seating that is providing to the students will be chosen by them and used daily in the classroom. By implementing flexible seating for my students, I hope to encourage them to become more attentive learners, responsible students, and excited to learn!
