Each year we use many consumables and go through 2 electric sharpeners. 31 students: 1 sharpener: 183 days is not an equal equation. It is amazing how fast supply runs out! My students use the electric sharpener daily and one sharpener does not last us the whole year. They also use markers and colored pencils to rainbow edit their rough drafts during writing. Our students would really benefit from an arts and craft section to enrich their independent projects. Making their Romans or Greeks pop up with googly eyes or colorful paint would help them store their learning in their long term memory.
