US W.S. in New Jersey secured a grant from the University of Penn to host its first ever robotics lab. We are excited about the possibilities this opportunity will bring to our middle school. Unfortunately, the monies from the grant only supply 1 robotics kit which will serve 2 students. We would like to have another kit so we can start our lab with 4-6 students. Students best learn when invested, excited, and collaborate on a project. This kit will allow 2 more students to be part of this exciting opportunity with the Lego League. The students will work together to learn about robotics (mechanics, physics), build a robot using Legos (design), and run the robot in competition (collaboration, problem-solving).
