I teach for all my students to learn mathematics. Giving them feedback is important. They love when we use the whiteboards with color markers, they have the opportunity to work a problem on their own, raise it when they are ready and get immediate feedback from me. I take the time to congratulate the ones who did well and to work with the ones that didn't. It is an activity that they enjoy very much. In this era of technology, having materials and activities that keep the students motivated is important. It looks like something simple, but it is something that makes them happy and motivated. On the other side, when the markers I have go dry and they are trying to do the problems and I can't see the answers, they got really frustrated.
