Funding my project will help my students create, explore and make math connections. I am so excited to be able to use Brain Pop Jr with my class. I have used this website in the past to introduce not only math but social studies, science, reading and language arts. The videos are short and to the point and have a quiz the students can complete at the end of the session. My goal is to make math class so much fun the students don't know they are actually learning. I want my students communicating, collaborating and problem solving with each other. I have chosen some math manipulatives that I will use as teaching tools and the students will be able to use to practice and reinforce math skills.
