These materials will allow some of the graduating seniors to breathe. These items will be given away to mostly first-generation students who cannot afford a TV or mini fridge on their own, so giving them away will be one less stress for them moving into their new home for the next four to five years. Taking away unnecessary stress is the goal for this project. The fridge, TV, Starbucks and Netflix gift cards will help these seniors make their transition from high school to college. I'm hoping these items make their new college life feel less stressful and encourage them to embrace their new studies. The fridge will be used of course, to keep their leftover food from home or extra cafeteria food. The TV will be used as a tool for a design major student to make their learning experience easier when they're studying in their dorm. The gift cards will be used as a stress reliever for in between class time.
