My students and I work together to explore the ins and outs of life science. They appreciate access to interactive materials and inquiry- and evidence-based investigations, which deepen their understanding and break up the more traditional notes and lectures. Our community is small but growing and we lose a lot of students to surrounding high schools that have the funds to provide a greater variety of opportunities. My goal is to elevate my classroom and provide my students competitive experiences with those being offered in surrounding districts and give students one less reason to look elsewhere for a quality education.

About my class
