The Annual Deaf and Hard of Hearing Cultural Event allows students with all types and levels of hearing loss to come together. Students complete a project focusing on their abilities and their Deaf and Hard of Hearing culture and identity. No student is an island but our student’s often feel that way. This event allows our students to come together and build relationships and connections with their peers. This event fosters a greater community not only for our students but for their parents as well. This focus of this annual event is for students to reflect on where they were and how far they have come on their learning journey and the growth of their abilities. This event is also a celebration of our Deaf and Hard of Hearing student’s successes and unique culture.
