"In Ms. Rhode's classroom we have fun! We do projects that require fun research and learning new things. She gives us a choice in what we read and learn. We get to create things with our friends!" -Student M I am so impressed with my sixth graders' passion for reading and writing. Although many of them lack access to necessary academic resources, they work tirelessly to meet and exceed the high expectations that I have set for them. In attempting to provide a socially equitable education for each of our scholars, I believe that it is my personal duty to ensure that they each have learning opportunities that will enable them to be optimally successful once they leave my classroom.
