Our classroom already has several tables, although having a rug and cushions will provide the students with a sitting table option that supports students as they engage, learn, and explore with their own unique method of learning. The flexible seating option will provide my classroom with an area where students are able to sit or kneel while learning. The cushions and rug provide a safe, comfortable area for ALL students to learn, explore, and grow within the classroom. Our classroom is equipped with many age appropriate chairs, although my hope is to have several seating options within the classroom to support all of my preschool learners!
