My students enjoy all types of outside play and we go outside everyday for 45 minutes. The time spent outside promotes better learning once we are back in the classroom. Playing soccer will help my children strengthen their gross motor skills, promote better hand-eye coordination, and help my students learn how to work as a team. All of these skills are needed to be successful in learning. By using the sport of soccer, I hope to build an atmosphere of pulling together and being there for each other. With just a few supplies, soccer nets and balls I hope to instill traits that my students can use throughout their school career.

About my class
