A dollhouse is a fabulous tool for problem solving and building relationships. Our 4-year-olds benefit from multiple ways to express themselves and improve their verbal communication. A dollhouse is a perfect opportunity for dramatic play without pressure or being put "on the spot". This imaginative play helps with social skills, motor skills, and vocabulary acquisition in a safe environment. "According to child development experts, role-play helps children acquire confidence and a sense of self, and it is also a key component to learning." Pre-K is a valuable time in a child's life to learn through play and a dollhouse is a fabulous tool to provide multiple opportunities for learning and playing!
