Through this project my classroom will be purchasing a set of algebra tiles. They are physical modalities to help understand the concept of solving equations from linear equations to quadratics. Also included is a teacher's set and an activity book guide. Solving equations is an often difficult concept to understand. Previously students and I have created our own Algebra tiles. This task is time consuming, and often results in disarray and lost sets of tiles. We are looking to save time and have more efficient and effective uses of our algebra tiles to ensure we can master our algebra concepts!
