ALL of the children in my Pre-K class receive free lunch. We are an upstart school in one of the poorest neighborhoods in Waterbury. Our building is an old Catholic school - dark wood everywhere, old cinder block and yellow tiled walls. It is a dark building, but the education going on there is as bright as stars! IT IS AN AMAZING SCHOOL THAT EDUCATES THE WHOLE CHILD. We begin our day at 7:30 and don't end until 4:00. I love my job - the administration, the parents and especially the children!
