My students will have the flexibility to move and work in different areas of the classroom. Our school currently has desks with chairs attached, so students cannot move freely around the classroom. Flexible seating options will help students learn in the way that is the most comfortable to them. When students are relaxed and comfortable, they learn better. The different types of bean bags, ball chairs, and stools along with a few floor desks will give the students choices on where and how to get their work done. Sitting in a corner, under a table, or next to a classmate, if they can get in a spot of their choice, learning will not only happen, but excel!
