The stools will allow the students flexibility in their seating. Each year I am blessed with a diverse group of students. No two students are the same, therefore no two learning styles are the same either. To ensure I am making the classroom a diverse place for them, having flexible seating is a must. Being able to pick up your seat and move about the room will give them this flexibility. These stools will allow me to provide this opportunity for my students. The stools will allow them to move freely among the room. They will also allow them to "wiggle and wobble" while they work. The students will be able to use these stools while we are having small group reading time at my front table. I will be able to meet with groups of 3-5 students on their independent reading needs and allow them the flexibility to their seating. The students will also be able to use these stools when they are doing small group projects around the room. They can take their seats and move about the room to complete their tasks. We all know students are active. Being able to "wiggle and wobble" while they work is just what some students need. I want to provide my students with the best learning environment that is conducive to their best learning. I believe incorporating these stools into the classroom with help students to have this learning environment.
