My students live in a high poverty area of south east Portland. They try their best every day and their hard word has earned our school the title of "model school." We are the only middle school in Oregon to earn this title and it means that our students showed more growth on state assessments, and more improvement in areas like attendance and behavior, than any other middle school. This is so exciting because it means our students are really achieving against the odds. They are being measured not by how many of them pass the test, but by how much they improved since they started at our school. Help me continue this great trend by supporting my projects! Each year, we receive new students with new academic challenges. Your support will help us continue to bring them leaps and bounds ahead in their academic success. Thank you!
