After taking a level I Orff Instructor class, our teacher has shared some new avenues for learning to sing, dance and play in music class. We have a soprano xylophone and would love to begin filling out our ensemble with an alto xylophone and a soprano metallophone. This would help us on our way to enhancing our group playing experience. (We've also improvised with some other instruments so far). The bass bar is excellent for students who find some difficulty with the more challenging melodies, yet still gives opportunities for keeping a beat and discovering musical timing. At our winter concert we were able to perform but more could have joined in. We would love to expand our Orff experience! Donations to this project would add a lot of smiles to a lot of little faces!
