Flexible seating with balance ball and wobble chairs is a intrigal part of the desk-less classroom model proven to enhance learning. This a special education inclusion class with general education students with a gambit of learning and behavioral needs. I have purchased for my class seating options from Ikea, Goodwill, and Garage sales but am unable reach the environment I am striving for with my limited income. Enriching the seat of ones soul first needs a good chair. Let them fidget and wobble! In my second year embarking upon this teaching style, students' grades have shown improvement and focused participation has increased. I have had the most invigorating and deep conversations but just providing a non ridged environment. My students are happier and more engaged just by simply giving my students a choice of how they want to learn.
