Our school uses a classical curriculum in which Music and the Fine Arts are valued as equally important to all other disciplines studied. Our scholars benefit from the rich cultural history of an in-depth study of the Arts. Throughout their time in the lower school music program, they will gain a thorough understanding of music theory, learn to play piano, ukulele, and a variety of classroom instruments, be exposed to composers and compositions of many types, & learn the joy of music through singing and dancing together. They will study American culture congruently with their history lessons through folk songs & music from important events. Our scholars will build confidence & leadership skills through many varied performance opportunities, such as musical theatre productions, concerts, & recitals. Music education is just one of the many ways that our scholars "Learn the true, do the good, and love the beautiful."
