Students move from class to class, subject to subject in classrooms without air conditioning or windows that open. There are always complaints about headaches, and I think much of this stems from the overwhelming amount of information that gets thrown their way. However, the fluorescent lighting does not help. I even go home with headaches on some days. Having these fluorescent light covers will significantly improve the learning environment, as it will decrease the number of headaches in the classroom; the LED lights will be used for Glow Poetry. If students had some form of natural lighting, this would be less of a problem. Until our school invests in windows, this will be a good temporary solution. Glow Poetry will be a hands-on way to make poetry fun!
