Close your eyes, picture a classroom of students who want to be at school and are completely engaged in learning. These students are engaging in discussions and are led to learning about and writing about topics they love. Students are naturally led to research more about the world they live in. As their brains are making connections of new information to prior experiences they are naturally driven to read, write, and create. They are excited about what they have learned and created. They want to share their learning with the world. How exciting is that! I want my classroom, their environment, to be a place that ignites their dreams and sparks new learning. Providing an environment that is student-driven creates a place where students are free to dream and naturally take the lead in their learning. This project will bring leading, cooperative, materials and technologies that will redefine students’ learning space. This project will give students an iPad and Nebula projector to capture their observations and experiences, resources to create and design, and a green screen to present their learning in an engaging and creative way.
