I'd love to teach my students more about agriculture and the crops around them. Majority of my students live in town and don't have the chance to have their own garden. The hand shovels, watering cans and rakes will give them hands-on experiences for tending, growing and harvesting produce. There are enough supplies for students to have their own gardening job and learn by doing. The books will be used throughout the year to educate and dive deeper into understanding the agriculture industry. We will pull themes from then and do close reading activities. They'll be on display for the students to read throughout the school year.
