This project is designed for our special education students in need of new sensory items for our outdoor sensory playground. Materials such as the fit boards will give the students a unique sensory experience with the ability to twist or rock from side to side on the board. In addition, some materials will replace items that have been used throughout this year, such as chalk and bubbles. We are also in need of new sensory balls and would like to add the Melissa and Douglas Dilly Dally Target Game to our outdoor game equipment. This game will be a fun interactive activity and will enhance social skills. All these materials will provide the students with more interactive sensory driven activities outside that they can share with each other.
