K-8th grade students come to library once a week for library pullout class. While we do read, learn library skills, and reading techniques, we also expand outside the library walls and learn other things. My students love to complete class projects and immerse themselves in project-based learning. We need extra supplies to allow students to use their creativity to expand their minds. Allowing students to create something based on new learning encourages them to keep on learning and expanding their minds and worlds.
