I teach in a small rural Title 1 school. Several of my students come from a broken home or homes with very little to no income. The town is a very small town. The school is the heart and soul of the community. We are a Pre-K - 12th grade building. The Elementary has roughly 250 students total This year's class is full of energy! I am the only 5th grade teacher. I have 12 girls and 23 boys. They are a very sweet class. They love learning new concepts and working hard. I love to watch their excitement when learning something new and finally figuring out a new skill! This classroom is a safe place for my students. The students can be themselves and show who they really are, and where they know they are loved..
