Most people do their best work when they are comfortable. Sitting at a desk all day that is too small gets frustrating fast. Allowing my students access to comfortable seating, in the form of a couch, gives them the opportunity to relax and do their best work. I have seen grades improve when students are comfortable and able to concentrate on their work. Instead of becoming distracted by a sore fanny, they are able to focus on work. This also allows for more seating in a small classroom. I cannot begin to explain how much this will help with learning in the classroom!!
