Through the use of high interest series books, students will read more as they become engaged with the characters. When they become invested in the story line they will read more and find a love of reading. This project will allow my students to build independence while becoming better readers. The availability of the tablet and stand will allow my students to check-out books from our class library. This will make our classroom library more accessible and interactive for my students, while teaching them an applicable life skill. Due to the amount of transient students, it will allow me to keep track of the books. The growth of our school is rapidly increasing and therefore it is often difficult to get the resources necessary for our learners. Having a classroom library and check-out system will provide the materials for a positive reading classroom.
